How it works

Winter Park Laser uses the Palomar Starlux system with specialized handpieces to filter light from various parts of the spectrum.  Each band of the spectrum has a wavelength that is specified for different treatments such as sunspots and blood vessel removal.  When the pulses of light are emitted into the skin, the light is absorbed by the pigment in sun-spots and the blood in visible blood vessels, and converted to heat.  The heat dissolves the cells that create the pigment and shrinks the vessels allowing them to dissapear in 1-3 weeks!!  Tightening of the skin as well as smaller pores are extra benefits of this treatment!

Multiple treatments are required (2-5 on average)

The typical outcome is improvement of skins texture and tone, sun-spots, pigmented and vascular lesions are reduced or removed and a reduction of fine lines as well as smaller pore size is seen.
